Regions Hospital is seeking a Neuropsychologist to join our team.
Neuropsychologist - PhD/PsyD/LP will provide outpatient neuropsychological assessment and evaluation, consultation, education and patient/family support, as necessary. The selected candidate will join our robust team of neuropsychologists and psychometrists in the Department of Neurology at the state-of-the-art HealthPartners Neuroscience Center. The role is full-time and requires the neuropsychological assessment of adults and geriatrics with special focus on neurodegenerative disease, including atypical dementias and movement disorders. Additionally, the neuropsychologist will be called upon to evaluate a wide range of patients referred by neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, medical spine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, among others. We do not conduct inpatient exams. Interested candidates may have an opportunity to participate in research within a robust scientist-practitioner neuroscience program as well as mentorship and teaching opportunities as part of our neuropsychology practicum program.
This position is responsible for training and direct performance management of staff. Community education is also inherent in the role.

Required Qualifications:
  • Possession of a Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in clinical psychology or a related field.
  • Completion of a supervised neuropsychology post-doctoral fellowship program in accordance with the Houston guidelines.
  • Licensure as a psychologist in the State of Minnesota.
The following are preferred:
  • Two more more years of work experience after fellowship
  • Board certification, or board eligible, by the American Board of Professional Psychology
  • Special interest/expertise in neurodegenerative disease and early diagnosis of memory loss and movement disorders
  • Experience practicing as a neuropsychologist in a neuroscience medical setting, working collaboratively with specialty physicians including neurologists, physiatrists and neurosurgeons
  • Assessment experience in general neurology (e.g., neuro-muscular, neuro-oncology, neuro-pain, epilepsy, stroke, etc.)
