Snr Research Consultant, Health Outcomes RWE at Oracle in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description In this role you will have the opportunity to lead the design, analysis, and publication of health outcome studies (e.g., patient survey studies, large database studies electronic health records, claims, etc.) and provide research consultation to both internal and external clients. KEY OUTCOMES As Snr Research Consultant, you will: + Be the Principal Investigator, lead the design and execution of health outcomes studies including writing research proposals, designing questionnaires, overseeing statistical analysis plan (SAP) development, overseeing data analysis, providing analytical interpretation, writing reports, and writing abstracts, posters, and manuscripts + Successfully lead engagements to ensure client satisfaction and ensure deliverables are sent on time and are of rigorous scientific quality + Support business development activities to identify opportunities, set appropriate pricing, and submit proposals + Mentor junior research staff + Attend and present at professional conferences + Be available for travel to support of all of the above responsibilities (~10%) CAPABILITIES To succeed, you will need: + Overall background / advanced degrees: + At least 6 years, total combined related work experience and completed higher education + At least 1 year work experience in life sciences consulting with proven ability to execute real world research studies + At least 5 years, additional work experience directly related to the duties of the job and/or completed higher education; preferred PharmD with health outcomes research, PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, epidemiology, health outcomes, or psychology (specifically, social psychology, behavioral science, experimental psychology) + Must have: + Experience in survey design and quantitative methods such as patient-reported outcome measurement development (e.g., Classic Test Theory and IRT knowledge) and/or patient preference studies (trade-off methods and DCE) + Knowledge of and experience working with statistics including regression techniques (OLS, logistic regression, generalized linear models), mixed models (e.g., survival and longitudinal analysis), non-parametric approaches, and data reduction techniques (e.g., factor analysis, SEM) + A strong publication history with multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts + Advanced ability to analyze data using SAS, SPSS, Stata, Mplus, and/or R + Excellent oral and written communication skills + Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Word + Highly desirable to have: + Experience using EHR and/or healthcare claims data + Familiarity with Python or other programming language + Ability to multitask several projects in a fast-paced environment JOIN US At Oracle Life Sciences we have an integrated way of rewarding our people based around a simple, clear and consistent set of principles.
