Serves as a fellow in the Otolaryngology Department; provides training of residents, medical students, undergraduate amp; graduate students, nursing staff, and other allied medical professionals in the Otolaryngology specialty area; participates in quality assessment and improvement activities; ensures continuing medical education requirements are met; participates in conferences and programs; conducts research projects; produces abstracts and/or publications.
Detailed Description of Duties
65%: Serves as fellow and provides direct patient care in the Otolaryngology area
30%: Provides training of residents, fellows, medical students, undergraduate amp; graduate students, nursing staff, and other allied medical professionals in the specialty area; participates in quality assessment and improvement activities.
5%: Conducts research projects; produces abstracts and/or publications.
M.D. or D.O. required (foreign equivalent acceptable); successful completion of Otolaryngolo residency training program. Requires successful completion of a background check; qualified candidates may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen and background check.
