Long-term disability insurance Monthly Employee Engagement ActivitiesWho you are: One year of experience as a maintenance assistant or grounds keeper for a building maintenance company, health care, manufacturing or educational facility; or other relevant experience Must have the ability to count objects and proportion cleaning chemicals and solvents and be able to calculate the amount of supplies needed for the work assignment Must be able to pace work in order to meet deadlines Able to read, write and communicate effectively in English Must possess a valid California driver's licenseJob Summary:The Groundskeeper is responsible for providing a well-kept appearance for the entire grounds and parking area. He will assist our contracted landscaping company.Essential Job Duties Maintains swimming pool and spa areas including restrooms and locker rooms in a clean safe and sanitary manner. Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies under job description in proper condition. Picks up debris and keeps grounds free of litter. Maintains all tools, equipment, and supplies in proper condition. Participates in all drills and in-service meetings, when assigned. Assists individual residents and resident garden groups with landscaping and gardening chores as required. Maintains all parking garages in a clean and safe manner. Participates in emergency drills and acts as a member of the Emergency Response Team. Performs any other relative, relevant duties as assigned. All Employees must be able to pass background checks (fitness for duty physical, fingerprinting, employment references) as required by a licensed residential care facility. EOE
