39942BR Requisition ID: 39942BR Business Unit: FSU Job Description: CDM Smith Federal Services (FSU) is seeking a dedicated and experienced Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) to manage and oversee all security aspects of our classified programs and projects. The CPSO will ensure that security policies and procedures comply with government regulations and are effectively implemented to protect classified information. Key Responsibilities: Security Program Management: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies and procedures for classified programs. Ensure compliance with government security regulations, including the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and other relevant directives. Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks. Maintain security documentation and records in accordance with government requirements. Serve as the Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) including setting policy, conducting meetings, and coordinating investigations as needed. Personnel Security: Process and maintain personnel security clearances for employees working on classified programs. Conduct security briefings, debriefings, and training sessions for program personnel. Manage access control to classified information and areas. Information Security: Partner with CDM Smith Business Technology to ensure the protection of classified information, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and compliance with information security policies. Oversee the secure handling, storage, and transmission of classified materials. Implement and manage secure communication systems for classified information. Physical Security: Oversee the installation and maintenance of physical security measures (e.g., alarms, surveillance systems) for classified areas. Conduct regular inspections and security sweeps to ensure compliance with physical security requirements. Develop and implement emergency response plans for classified programs. Incident Response: Investigate security incidents and breaches involving classified information. Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Coordinate with government agencies and other stakeholders as necessary. Perform other compliance duties as assigned. Job Title: Contractor Program Security Officer Group: OPS - Contracts/Risk Mgmt Employment Type: Regular Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. 12 years of related experience with at least 3 of those years in a management or leadership capacity. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with government security regulations and requirements (e.g., NISPOM, DoD directives). Must be a US Citizen and have an active security clearance, or have had a security clearance in the past and are able to obtain a new security clearance. Must have knowledge and training on working in NBIS, DISS, e-QIP etc. Relevant certifications (e.g., Industrial Security Professional (ISP), Certified Protection Professional (CPP) preferred). Experience with both DoD and DOE classified programs preferred. Strong knowledge of security principles and practices related to classified programs. Possesses an understanding of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). Experience managing in DoD SAPF and SCIF environments. Background Check and Drug Testing Information: CDM Smith Inc. and its divisions and subsidiaries (hereafter collectively referred to as 'CDM Smith') reserves the right to require background checks including criminal, employment, education, licensure, etc. as well as credit and motor vehicle when applicable for certain positions.
