SUMMARY: Reports to and works under the direction of the Director of Psychology Services. Has the responsibility for the coordination, provision, implementation, staff training, and monitoring of in-home Applied Behavior Analysis services in the outpatient ABA program.
*Completing assessments of behavior support needs
*Developing positive behavior support plans
*Training and support direct support professionals
*Providing in-home behavior services for children with Autism
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, a person must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Completing ABA assessments for individuals on the assigned caseload in the outpatient ABA program.
- Development of treatment plans for individuals on the assigned caseload in the outpatient ABA program.
- Training Registered Behavior Therapists/Behavior Therapists/Paraprofessionals to implement ABA services.
- Supervising Registered Behavior Therapists/Behavior Therapists/Paraprofessionals in the delivery of ABA services.
- Documenting all services provided in the ABA program according to agency standards.
- Liaising with other professionals involved in the care of individuals on the assigned caseload within the outpatient ABA program.
- Attendance at program staff meetings as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements: - Maintenance of an acceptable CORI
- Valid Driver's license
- Negative drug screen
- Use of personal vehicle for work purposes
- Maintain flexibility with weekly scheduled hours in order to accommodate the program
- Commitment to the philosophy of community inclusion and person-centered thinking
Education and/or Experience: - Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Valid Licensed Applied Behavior Analyst in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- 5 years experience working with children with Autism.
- Demonstrated history of quality work performance and teamwork in previous positions
Other Skills and Abilities: - Excellent, written, verbal, and organizational skills; proficient interpersonal relations and communicative
