We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions of the Cooperative as well as preparing various financial statements and reports and ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting software, general ledger reconciliation, and financial statement preparation.
Duties:
- Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial reports on a monthly basis
- Perform general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Process journal entries and maintain accurate records
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial reporting requirements
- Assist with any other accounting functions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles and financial statement preparation
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
