Position Overview

We are seeking an energetic and personable Floor Manager to join our team. Our Floor Managers play a key role in overseeing the service operations of the Club to ensure smooth, efficient operations in line with our mission to deliver an outstanding Member experience.

This is a unique opportunity for a hospitality professional with an interest in luxury service, who possesses a strong command presence coupled with service experience and instincts and a willingness to work alongside their small team. We are looking for the right people to join our team and are open to candidates who only want to star a couple shifts per week.

While on duty, Floor Managers provide main oversight of service standards and are the primary lead for servers, bussers, concierges, and other floor staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Service Management

  • During service, act as the liaison between back of house and front of house, including being point of contact on any BEOs related to events during that service. se, food & beverage, facilities, and events) are running smoothly.
  • Ensure high standards of service are maintained and serve as the on-duty manager for service-related operations, initiatives, and policies.
  • Lead the opening of the Club that day, the daily line up, and complete the shift report to communicate relevant details to the next opening manager.
  • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and safety throughout the club, in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Service Director to develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and member satisfaction based on your observations during service.

Member Relations

  • Build strong relationships with
  • Escalate Member inquiries, complaints, or concerns in a professional and timely manner to the Service Director
  • Maintain an up-to-date awareness of Membership offerings, events, and opportunities so that you can respond with informed authority to staff and Member questions when you’re the MOD.
  • Ensure a warm, welcoming atmosphere is maintained at all times, and Members feel appreciated.

Staff Management and Leadership

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to Club staff, ensuring that team members are motivated, well-trained, supported, and adhere to the club’s service standards.
  • Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and respect.

Event Execution

  • Lead the execution of Club events when you are MOD.
  • Ensure exceptional Member experiences during events.

Other Duties

  • Ensure all Club policies and procedures are followed by staff and members.
  • Partner with the culinary partners and be primary contact with lead chefs.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in restaurant or food-service management. Experience in private membership clubs or high-end service environments is a plus.
  • Education: A degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Skills:
    • Strong leadership and team-management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with Members and staff.
    • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, with a focus on customer service and operational efficiency.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a service environment.
  • Knowledge: A strong understanding of F&B operations and management and events/catering.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed. Must be able to stand, walk, and move about the club for extended periods.

Compensation

  • Starting at $30/hour, with increases for successful candidates scheduled at 90 and 180 days
  • Inclusion in a Membership-growth cash bonus program after 90 days
