City/StateWoodbridge, VA Overview Work ShiftFirst (Days) (United States of America) Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is hiring a Part-time day shift RN-II for the Cath Lab in Woodbridge, Virginia! 2 ten-hour shifts with required call. Minimum of 8 shifts per month or more depending on staffing needs. 1 full weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) per month or every other weekend as needed. Position Overview As a Registered Nurse Clin II your primary responsibilities include intra-procedural patient care/monitoring, moderate sedation, documentation, and circulating. Department Overview: The Cath Lab at Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center is a 50-person team of monitor techs, cardiovascular invasive techs, registered nurses and patient care staff for additional support. The team sees a mix of inpatient and outpatient and an average of 10 procedures per day. Heart and Vascular has 3 labs for EP, Cardiac and IR at SNVMC. RN's will see a 1 to 1 ratio in procedural areas and a 1 to 2/3 in recovery depending on acuity. Job RequirementsPreferred: BSN, ADN from accredited program Required. Required: RN-LicensePreferred: 1-2 years Cath/EP Lab, Critical Care, Emergency Department or ICU experience. RN with cardiac step-down experience will be considered.
