Qualifications: - Willing to attain and maintain a current Registered Behavior Technician certification through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB).
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of concepts of Behavior Analysis and PBIS.
- Demonstrate leadership and project organizational skills (planning, implementing, and evaluation).
- Possess the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders, educators, administration, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with individuals, teams, and groups (teachers, administrators, and support staff).
- Impeccable time-management skills and adhere to scheduled appointments with supervisor, BIP/IEP meetings, etc.
- Adhere to all ethical guidelines outlined by the BACB.
- Willing to enroll, be currently enrolled or have already completed the 40 hour Registered Behavior Technician training. Preference is given to those who have already completed the training.
- Completion of the Safety-Care Behavior Safety Training program is preferred.
- Willing to work with all populations (age, program, varying disabilities, etc.)
- Position requires standing/walking, sitting, lifting to 30 lbs., repetitive hand movements (including simple grasping, pushing/pulling, fine manipulation), bending, squatting, kneeling, climbing, and reaching. Candidates must be able to bend and move at a fast rate in the event that physical interventions are necessary.
Pay Rate: Instructional Assistant Grade C2b Salary Scale (credit is based on years of full-time experience in a related position)
Assignment: Full time / 10 months / 183 days
Start Date: This position is available immediately. Start date will be determined at time of offer.
