CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the direction of the Special Education Director, the Special Education Teacher...
* Develops and provides specialized instruction to meet the unique needs of students with disabilities.
* Evaluates and assesses student progress against instructional objectives.
* Follows State-mandated due process procedures and functions as support to assigned students.
* Collaborates with educators, parents, and other professionals to create safe, healthy, and supportive learning environments that strengthen connections between home, school, and the community for all students.
CLIENT'S QUALIFICATIONS:
* Requires a Bachelor's Degree from an approved program for special education in the assigned area.
* Must possess or be eligible to possess a valid Tennessee Educator's Licensure at time of employment.
