What is the SPARC Program?
Southeastern Pennsylvania Autism Resource Center is a department of the Devereux organization, offering empirically-validated behavior treatment programs for individuals with autism, as well as individuals with behavioral concerns or other developmental disabilities. SPARCs values and clinical strategies align strongly with our 107-year-old organization and mission, which is focused on changing lives by unlocking and nurturing human potential for people living with emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences.
In this role you will:
- Provide school consultation to public and private schools in Delaware and northern Maryland
- Conduct FBAs and develop behavior support plans for individual students engaging in high risk behavior
- Train teachers and paraeducators to implement behavior plans. Monitor fidelity of implementation and track progress
- Give trainings to school-based staff on behavioral interventions
- Provide systems-level consultation to special education programs serving students with intensive needs. Work with school leadership to define universal educational practices for autistic support and other specialized settings.

Qualifications:
- Masters degree from a behaviorally-based, accredited college/university in special education, psychology or other related field;
- Must hold a current BCBA certification;
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in the direct delivery of behavior analytic services to people with autism spectrum disorders/behavioral challenges as a BCBA and at least 1-year experience consulting/working within a school preferred.
