Description Springfield College is seeking dynamic and experienced adjunct faculty members to join our Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) program. As an adjunct faculty member, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, online education to our DMSc students, guiding them to achieve excellence in education and leadership.
Compensation for adjunct faculty with fewer than 3 years college teaching experience is $2820 for a 3-credit course
Compensation for adjunct faculty with 3 or more years college teaching experience is $3513 for a 3-credit course.
Responsibilities - Teach and facilitate online courses within the DMSc program using Brightspace, our Learning Management System.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students on assignments and discussions.
- Engage in active communication with students to support their learning and professional growth.
- Collaborate with the DMSc Program Director and other faculty to ensure course content meets program standards and objectives.
- Participate in curriculum development and course revision as needed.
Qualifications - Earned doctorate degree (e.g., DMSc, EdD, DHSc, PhD) in a relevant field.
- Current or prior NCCPA PA Certification.
- Current residence in one of the following states: Massachusetts, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Delaware, Texas, Vermont, Florida.
- Experience in higher education, preferably with online teaching experience.
- Strong commitment to student success and academic excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience teaching in a medical science or healthcare-related program.
- Knowledge and experience with Learning Management Systems, particularly Brightspace.
- Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and academic leadership.
