Job Description
The Department of English at Saint Michael's College invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of English. This is a tenure-track position to start August 2025. We seek candidates with PhDs or MFAs with expertise in African American Literature or in race and literature more broadly. Candidates with a history of creative practice who have experience teaching literature courses are encouraged to apply. The 3/3 teaching load will consist of introductory literature seminars, 200-level surveys and topics courses, upper-level seminars and, if appropriate, creative writing workshops.
