Position Summary
•Responsible for providing protection and security for hospital building and grounds, employees, patients and visitors.
Education
•High School diploma or equivalent
Licenses and Certification
•IAHSS- Certified Healthcare Security Officer, CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)-Certified Instructor, or State of Illinois Basic Security Officer Certification required within 6 months of hiring.
Experience and Skills
•Technical Experience: N/A
•Lead: 1 year
Role Specific Responsibilities
•Tours buildings and grounds.
•Prepares daily reports and signs log sheets.
•Maintains building security.
•Assists with helicopter transfers.
•Lead: Assists with scheduling and documentation.
•Lead: Assists with training and education of security staff.
•Lead: Assists security supervisor with management duties.
•Lead: Attend meetings as assigned by Security Manager.
Compensation (Commensurate with experience):
$17.57 - $26.36
