  • Demonstrated excellence in online teaching (required).

Who We Are
Located in a serene mountain setting yet near major metropolitan areas, Mount Saint Mary's Emmitsburg campus is the second-oldest Catholic university in the United States. We are a comprehensive, nationally recognized university enrolling 1650 undergraduate students with a 13:1 student-to-faculty ratio. We support a welcoming faculty that can engage the interests of a growing and dynamic student population.
In addition, the Mount's satellite campus in Frederick, Maryland, serves multiple degree-seeking non-traditional student populations, including veterans and working adults. Most of the courses taught in these programs are eight weeks in length in online and asynchronous formats. The Mount provides the instructors of these courses with robust technological, pedagogical, and curricular supports and requires instructors to employ high-engagement pedagogical models.
Successful candidates will share our commitment to the dignity and solidarity of all persons.
