Rome Health is seeking a Medical Assistant for our Pulmonary/Neurology team. The Medical Assistant will perform administrative duties under the direction of the physician or other health care provider which include and are not limited to the following:
- Organize and maintain medical records and equipment.
- Documenting information within patient medical records.
- Conduct pre-visit planning by reviewing and updating patient charts prior to appointment.
- Assist providers and nurses with medical and office procedures including blood draws, EKGs, minor procedures, and rooming of patients within the scope of practice.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma
Current BLS is preferred
1-2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a health care environment.
