Shift Lead Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and driven Shift Lead to join our team in a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment . This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to keep operations running smoothly—even during the busiest shifts. As a Shift Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing staff, ensuring cleanliness, handling customer concerns (including difficult interactions), and maintaining the highest standards of food quality and service.

• Lead and Manage the Team – Provide direction, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth operations throughout your shift.
• Work in a Fast-Paced Kitchen – Keep up with high-volume service while ensuring food quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a Super Clean Work Environment – Ensure all areas meet strict hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Deliver Excellent Customer Service – Assist guests, resolve concerns, and create a positive dining experience.
• Handle Aggressive Customers – Stay professional and composed when dealing with difficult or frustrated customers.
• Cash Handling & Operations – Oversee transactions, manage registers, and follow cash handling policies.
• Stock & Inventory Management – Monitor supplies, restock as needed, and prevent shortages.
• Adapt to Long Hours When Needed – Be prepared for extended shifts during peak times or staff shortages.

• Strong leadership skills – Ability to manage and motivate a team while keeping morale high.
• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen or food service environment is preferred.
• Exceptional cleanliness and attention to detail – Keeping workstations, prep areas, and dining areas spotless.
• Excellent customer service – Friendly, patient, and professional, even when handling complaints.
• Thick skin & problem-solving skills – Able to de-escalate and professionally handle aggressive customers.
• Reliable and hardworking – Ready to tackle long hours when necessary and maintain energy throughout shifts.
