Job Description

Beacon Hill is working with a Washington, DC area client seeking an experienced Tax Manager with a strong background in corporate tax and tax software implementation to support the adoption and optimization of tax technology solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with internal teams and clients to streamline tax reporting processes, onboard users, and develop best practices for tax software utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and optimization of tax software solutions
  • Provide pre-sale and post-sale support, guiding clients through onboarding, training, and best practices.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, FAQs, and video tutorials to enhance adoption.
  • Research and address tax-related issues impacting software functionality.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to improve features and ensure compliance with corporate tax regulations.
  • Stay updated on tax laws, ASC 740, and regulatory changes to support tax provision and compliance processes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (CPA or CPA-eligible preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate tax (public accounting or in-house).
  • Experience with tax software implementation and technology-driven tax solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of tax provision (ASC 740), GAAP, and compliance best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to train and support end-users.
