Use of Rapid Response Teams, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, and Isolation Precautions,. Certs: BCLS, ACLS, and NIH PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Titrate Cardiac drips, and Titrate Vasoactive drips, JOB DETAILS: Target Ratios: 1:5/6 Unit Will Accept 13 Weeks! Shift: 12 HR NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:1536 hours can be offered. ***RTO 7 Day MAX for Aya Auto Offer******NO BLOCK SCHEDULING*** Float Requirement: Floating required as needed to other Med/Surg units. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend. **Travelers will be required to take COVID patients if necessary. No team members are exempt from taking a COVID patient PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Variable med-surg unit with focus on cardiac and neurology services. Stroke certified, hip and knee certified, colorectal cancer certified, ERAS, general surgical patients, occasional GYN surgeries, hospice, cardiac services, pre and post cath, tele neurology, oncology. UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR SCHEDULING TYPE: Unit schedules ***NO BLOCK SCHEDULING*** UNIT ORIENTATION: 2, 12hr shifts. Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
