They are currently looking for a skilled Millwright to join the team and contribute to continued success in providing high-quality solutions.

About the Position

The company is seeking a highly skilled Millwright to work within a collaborative project team to remove, install, dismantle, assemble, and maintain process equipment. This position involves working with a variety of process equipment, including but not limited to pumps, motors, gates, actuators, mixers, and instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment installation and maintenance, as well as a solid understanding of safety standards and procedures.

As a Millwright you will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical components are installed, aligned, and functioning properly. You will play a critical role in maintaining the operational efficiency of the equipment and ensuring all work is done in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Safety Compliance: Work within company and OSHA safety standards to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Equipment Installation: Review drawings and documents related to equipment, and fit, align, and attach mechanical components.
  • Process Equipment Installation: Install pumps, mixers, gates, actuators, motors, conveying equipment, and instrumentation.
  • Layout & Alignment: Perform equipment layout and ensure accurate leveling and alignment of machinery.
  • Rigging & Removal: Safely rig and dismantle existing equipment, and assist in the removal and installation of equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and correct issues with equipment as needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain operational and stored equipment to ensure long-term performance.
  • Testing & Adjusting: Test and adjust equipment after installation to ensure proper operation.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Millwright or in the installation of process equipment is required.
  • Certification: OSHA 10 certification is required.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to regularly lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with project team members.
    • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to complete projects.
