Utility Worker IPRIMARY DUTY:Working under the assigned supervisor in charge of field operations, primary responsibility will be perform labor and technical work to maintain the water and wastewater systems. Perform 24 hour stand-by duties as needed or on a rotating basis for operations, maintenance, and safety of facilities to ensure the integrity of the system.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: A combination of education and experience and professional skills that best meets the needs of this position will be considered. Some considerations are:High school diploma or equivalent.CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:Valid Class "C" Texas Driver's License with good driving record required.For continued employment must obtain:Valid class "A" Texas Commercial Driver's license with tank endorsement within six months of hire or transfer into position.
