*Electrical CAD Drafter*

*Description:*

· The CAD Drafter will assist technical teams of detailers, designers, and engineers to create and revise drawings from explicit verbal or written instructions or detailed sketches.

· Assist with preparing new drawings and revising existing engineering drawings of basic components from specific sketches or layouts.

· Responsible for adhering to company and client drafting standards and procedures.

· Responsible for adhering to the drafting practices of selected discipline.

· Assist in drafting design and documentation for various projects.

· Assist with tasks utilizing standard drafting detail programs.

· Assist with ad hoc projects as assigned by managers.

· All other duties as assigned.

*Requirements:*

· Minimum Associate’s degree in CAD related program or specialized CAD certification plus 2 years of relevant drafting experience

· Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred

· Proficient in AutoCAD (experience with Microstation, Revit, or Solidworks is a plus but not required)

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Strong problem solving and analytical skills

· Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs, including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

· Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
