Key Responsibilities:
Train and mentor claims support staff on current systems, procedures, and best practices.
Continuously assess team performance and identify opportunities for improvement or skill development.
Monitor performance against established goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of claim functions.
Provide regular reports on team performance, workload distribution, and key metrics to executive leadership.
Cultivate a positive work culture focused on accountability, continuous learning, and high performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, insurance, or a related field.
Prior management or leadership experience.
Proven experience in employee training, development, and performance management.
Exceptional organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
Ability to analyze data and forecast staffing needs based on growth and operational requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with claims management software is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across departments and with executive leadership.
