Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. As a working manager, the ideal candidate must be comfortable balancing hands-on technical responsibilities with leadership duties to drive team success.

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to provide technical support for customer issues related to Treasury and Healthcare technologies while also leading a team of analysts. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise and managerial oversight to ensure service excellence, operational efficiency, and team development.

Essential Functions:

Provide direct support for Commerce Bank’s Treasury and Healthcare platforms,

Monitor and resolve intermediate to complex customer service file issues, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation

Respond to system issues within SLA timeframes, serving as the liaison between multiple lines of business

Develop technical processes, documentation, and useful reporting to improve team effectiveness

Collaborate with IT, vendors, and product teams to implement and enhance technical solutions

Maintain on-call availability for occasional after-hours support and actively participate in SEV-1 incident bridge calls

Lead and manage a team of Treasury and Healthcare Systems Analysts, providing coaching, mentorship, and performance management

Establish and enforce team policies and procedures to align with organizational objectives

Act as the primary point of escalation for complex technical issues and customer concerns

Coordinate resources across multiple departments to ensure effective issue resolution

Communicate updates to stakeholders throughout the enterprise and ensure transparency in issue resolution

Support employee development by providing technical training and growth opportunities within the department

Lead, mentor and motivate team members to implement the department strategy and manage department workflow with guidance on departmental projects/issues, and provide coaching and development opportunities appropriate to each direct report's individual needs

Perform all necessary management functions, including hiring, evaluations, annual increase allocations and disciplinary action as required

Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members effectively

Support budget management, planning and expenditure

Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Strong knowledge of Agile project methodology, including knowledge of best practices

Strong operational mindset with a strategic approach to process improvements

Working knowledge of inbound & outbound Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) and FTP file transmissions and the ability to troubleshoot file transmissions, systems integrations, and technical issues

Working knowledge of Healthcare Information Standards such as Health Level 7 (HL7) and X12 Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) transactions preferred

Strong documentation and reporting abilities for business continuity and process optimization

Experience in project coordination and working within Agile methodologies

Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to apply discretion and sound judgement to efficiently and effectively solve problems

Ability to drive results and balance management of organizational risk and meeting goals of the business

Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate team members and foster a positive team environment that gives way to collaboration and unified goals

Outstanding interpersonal and relationship building skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts both verbally and in writing

Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and Visio or other process flow-charting tools

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Math, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required

6+ years of experience in IT solutioning, test planning, test execution, and remediation required

3+ years experience in leadership/supervisory required

Previous experience in the Treasury and/or Healthcare industry preferred
