Overview:

The Industrial Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and facilities within the 84 Components manufacturing plant. This role plays a critical part in minimizing downtime, improving efficiency, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on plant machinery, including saws, conveyors, presses, and other production equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic system issues to minimize downtime.
Conduct repairs, replacements, and adjustments on malfunctioning equipment to maintain production efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a hazard-free work environment.
Assist in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications to enhance plant productivity.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and records of repairs, inspections, and parts inventory.
Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations.

Schedule: Monday through Thursday 3:00 pm to 2:00 am

Responsibilities:

Perform regularly scheduled maintenance of all equipment/machinery.

Maintain equipment/machinery within tolerance of quality standards.

Train operators on correct operating and maintenance procedures.

Audit daily checks.

Maintain safe work/machine environment

Qualifications:

Able to read and write in their primary language.

Able to stand for long periods of time.

Able to lift 50 pounds.
