Compensation Range
Annual Salary: $62,000.00 - $83,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)
About This Job
The main purpose of this job is to serve as a liaison with Commerce Trust Company (CTC) Front Office and Management teams. Coordinate daily activities within Income Unit, Audit/Compliance and Tax Department interaction as they pertain to unit, regulatory compliance and process oversight.
Essential Functions
Monitor unit and individual goals for Associates within Income unit
Ensure unit adherence and compliance with laws and regulations that impact Income Unit
Ensure adequacy of internal controls, recommend changes as appropriate, and implement approved changes
Direct the preparation and ongoing maintenance of comprehensive desk top procedures for all functions within range of functional responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Trust Department policies and practices as they pertain to unit
Ensure timely clearance of both Cash and Position reconciliation exceptions that pertain to unit
Daily monitoring of House, Suspense and Float Accounts that are used by Income associates
Oversee department workflow and effectively communicate decisions, priorities and relevant information to team members
Provide guidance to employees on departmental projects/issues, coach and develop training plans, lead development conversations and answer day-to-day questions for team members
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Strong knowledge of and experience in the Securities Processing industry and with trust accounting systems
Ability to develop and coach team members with proven ability to achieve results through collaboration and teamwork
Self-starter with strong decision-making skills and the ability to effectively communicate and interact with all levels of the company, clearly expressing ideas and concepts, both verbally and in writing
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s in Business, Finance or Accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience required
3+ years Previous Supervisory/Management experience required
1+ years leadership experience required
*Hybrid Schedule: In office 2-3 days per week
