PROFILE REVIEW MANAGER WILL INTERVIEW START DATES: 3/24 or 4/7 Unit Periop (pre/post surgery)--both inpatient and outpatient # beds 16 beds Certs BLS, ACLS, PALS Ratios 1 to 1 fresh post op and then 1 to 2 for next phase; preop 1 to 5: Post recover 1 to 4 (if holding) EMR Cerner-surginet Charge Nurse Yes Nurse Aides No Weekend Requirement 1 Weekend per month Holidays On call Scrub Color Provided Tele GE IV Team No, RN's must have strong IV skills RT 24/7 Yes Pharmacy 24/7 Yes Call Will take one week day of call as well as one weekend per month at minimum (this is for nurses AND techs) Shifts 12 hour w/ staggered start times from 6am-1030am Floating Endoscopy and outpatient surgery center Floor specific orientation One week but varied based on experience Common diagnosis / Types of patients Robotic and regular Lap chole, lap appy, colon resec, hernia, hysters, spine cases, total joints (hips, knees, shoulder), Cardiac Cath’s, not much eye or ENT currently, no open cardiac Additional Notes Will do outpatient blood transfusions and infusions in the PACU
