A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works full-time in the surgical unit, providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse range of medical-surgical patients, with a focus on surgeries including neurosurgeries and abdominal surgeries. Compensation/Benefits
- $18.08-$29.53/hr based on previous background.
- Evening differential $2.00/hr.
- Night differential $2.50/hr.
- Weekend differential $2.50/hr.

Our Surgical unit is a 32 bed unit that takes care of wide variety of medical surgical patients. Our primary patient surgery population are neurosurgeries, general abdominal surgeries, thyroidectomies. We provide training for general medical-surgical, Telemetry, & Neurosurgery. We work with interdisciplinary team of medical professionals for the complete patient care. Our Surgical Unit has great teamwork atmosphere and a wonderful place to work, learn and grow.
Responsibilities:
- Administers nursing care to an assigned group of patients based on phyiscian's orders and nursing care plan.
- Collaborates with Registered Nurse to plan patient care.
- Performs a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties including data collection.
Qualifications:
Education
- Completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.
Experience
- Prefer previous hospital experience.
- Previous work history reflecting stable employment is necessary.
- If no work experience, will consider school attendance record and performance. .

Licensure/Certification
- Current Oklahoma State LPN License or active Multistate LPN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) training for duration of employment.
