  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • State License 1 Verification
  • NIH Stroke Certification
    Job Details
  • Vent experience required!
  • Intermediate Care - Pulmonary
  • Unit: 4B IMC
  • Schedule: Nights; 3x12s; (Option for 4x12s)
  • Weekends: 6-weekend shifts per 6 weeks
  • Duration: 13-weeks
  • Patient population includes adult to geriatric patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions.
    Job Requirements
  • Vent experience
  • Active VA or Compact License in hand at submission
  • BLS & ACLS
  • Cardiac TELE background within the past year
  • PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown work setting experience
  • 2 years of experience
  • Willing to take charge RN role (previous charge experience prebriefed)
  • Comprehensive respiratory proficiency required.
    Schedule Information
  • Nights; 3x12s; (Option for 4x12s)
  • Weekends: 6-weekend shifts per 6 weeks
  • OT is after 48hrs per week
    Unit Specific Information
  • Management of dysrhythmias
  • Telemetry - on the unit monitoring
  • Use of Rapid Response Teams
  • Pre/Post Cardiac Cath
  • Central line care/management
  • Peripheral Line Care/Management
  • PICC line management
  • Manage Cardiac drips- no titration
  • Titrate Cardiac drips
  • Heparin Protocols
  • Traumatic Brain injury
  • Care of Ventilated Patient
  • External CPAP/BIPAP
  • High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)
  • Tracheostomy Management
  • Isolation Precautions
  • EPIC
    Additional Details
  • Proof of I9 or Attestation.
  • Government issued photo ID required.
  • Must check Unit Description (UD) to determine certifications required.
