Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Byron, IL. In this role, you will work in a skilled nursing facility (SNF), providing essential speech therapy services to help residents improve their communication, swallowing, and cognitive skills. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care for optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients to improve communication and daily living skills.
Implement and monitor therapy techniques to improve speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive functions.
Provide education and support to patients and families to reinforce therapy goals outside of the clinical setting.
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in accordance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Illinois.
Experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) is preferred but not required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
