Essential Duties (aka Your Daily Adventures) • Be the voice of awesomeness as you screen calls, take messages, and play telephone matchmaker. • Roll out the red carpet for visitors with your dazzling greeting skills. • Transform into a human GPS, guiding residents, visitors, and vendors with your encyclopedic knowledge of the community. • Channel your inner postal wizard as you sort and distribute incoming mail with flair. • Unleash your inner office superhero, tackling typing tasks, event reservations, and directory updates with lightning speed. • Become a marketing maven, sharing community info and keeping those brochures looking fresh and fabulous. • Be the calm in the storm when responding to emergency calls and alarms – your cool head saves the day! • Master the art of Stat Check System administration – because who doesn't love a good system? • Channel your inner secret agent with periodic building rounds to keep everything ship-shape and secure. • Embrace your inner handyperson by processing work orders and keeping office supplies stocked and ready for action. • Spread sunshine and smiles with your courteous service to residents, guests, and co-workers alike. • Be the resident superhero in the absence of the Resident Services Director – no cape required (but encouraged)! • Stay on your toes for other exciting duties that may pop up – variety is the spice of life! Qualifications Basic Qualifications & Experience • High School Diploma or equivalent experience. • Working knowledge of multi-extension, multi-line telephone system is required. • Prior concierge or hospitality experience strongly preferred. • Energetic, enthusiastic, exceptional communication skills. • Good organizational skills, follow-up and follow through; must be able to multitask. • Minimum one-year experience in a business office environment. Strong clerical skills to include knowledge of computer software (Word, Excel, Outlook). • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language. • Must possess strong communication and excellent customer service skills. • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language Working Conditions / Physical Requirements • Light physical effort required by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently. • Sits, stands, bends and moves intermittently during working hours. • Is subject to frequent interruptions. • Interacts with residents, family members, visitors frequently.
