Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Network Surveillance Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in supporting a 24/7 Network Operations Center. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the RAN Network and create initial troubleshooting for 5G cell site incident tickets.
  • Log incidents and assess their impact using the Service Now ticketing tool.
  • Conduct site monitoring and health checks following maintenance activities.
  • Oversee the incident management process and collaborate with team members to resolve issues.
  • Assist in prioritizing incidents based on urgency and business impact.
  • Manage outages and emergencies while adhering to agreed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Collaborate across multiple functions to drive resolutions for customer complaints.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of trouble tickets and troubleshooting processes.
  • Ensure optimal levels of open incident backlog and maintain national level availability.
Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of telecom/wireless experience, particularly in a NOC environment.
  • Strong knowledge of 4G/5G functional components and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with RAN EMS’s and observability tools.
  • Familiarity with incident management processes and ticketing systems.
  • Proficiency in managing complex technical issues and escalations.
  • Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and approaches.
