American College of Surgeons (ACS) Committee on Trauma has verified Baylor Scott & White Mc Lane Children's as a Level II pediatric trauma center, making it the only pediatric trauma center between Dallas and Austin and the only Pediatric Hospital for Baylor Scott and White. Mc Lane Children’s is also a Magnet designated facility and you are able to obtain TNCC and ENPC certifications during the first year as well as triage trained within the first 2 years. Your responsibilities include patient assessment, recognizing health issues, creating care plans, and assessing patient responses.
