Atlas Fuel Services has openings for qualified Fuel Drivers at our Monroe, Michigan location. We are a premier one-stop fuel and lubrication petroleum distributor with a focus on safety and customer service.

Driver duties would include operating Atlas Fuel Services equipment and making local deliveries. The candidate must be able to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle, follow time schedules, and be detail-oriented, organized, and punctual.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Loads, unloads and moves fuel products safely from loading facility to customer or company locations in a timely manner. Including fleet fueling (truck to truck) when required.
• Follows company policies, federal and state regulations.
• Keeps a safe record regarding accidents, driving record, injuries and other events, following all company safety guidelines.
• Maintains clean equipment, uniforms and trucks, ensuring any repairs are communicated promptly.
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of delivery of product, volume of delivery, and inventory control management.
• Appropriately uses internal systems, handheld devices, and other electronic equipment for work purposes.
• Takes direction from dispatchers and management, following delivery instructions and maintaining good working relationship.
• Communicates with team members, management and customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Adopts new methods, procedures and changes in a positive manner.
• Offers suggestions to improve efficiency and solutions to solve problems.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Full time
• Rotating on call

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Commercial Driver's License, Class B required or A .
• Hazmat and Tanker (X) endorsement or willing to obtain upon hire.
• Excellent driving record.
• 6-12 months commercial driving experience.
• Good customer service, computer, and communication skills
• Pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Compensation details: 25-28 Hourly Wage
