Job Description & Requirements

WCS Healthcare has multiple openings in a residential setting working with young adults and children in a behavioral health program in Queens. This position is working for a well know Social Services agency.

 

Job Function:

• Day Shift


• 9am - 5pm


• 3 days per week


• Observe and record patient behavior


• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests


• Counsel/educate patients and their families on treatment plans


• Administer medication, change wound dressings, and care for other treatment options


• Read and interpret patient information, making treatment decisions when appropriate


• Direct and supervise nurses, nurse assistants, and nurse aides

 

 

Job Requirements:

• Licensed RN in New York


• BLS


• Minimum 1 yr of nursing exp in mental health, OPWDD
