Job Description

CONTRACT POSITION - 1 Year

We have an immediate opening for a Project Manager to manage multiple software development and implementation projects. Projects include new development and integration of various software systems, and activities need to be coordinated with multiple agencies.

The candidate will coordinate with program managers who have operational responsibility for these systems and the other IT staff as needed.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working with functional teams and technical teams, managing vendor/client relationships, and developing work plans for migration projects and implementations.
2. Identifying and managing risk.
3. Generating detailed status reports and working with multiple business owners in developing requirements.
4. Creating and maintaining project schedules and related project documentation, and following up with appropriate staff.
5. Reporting status to management.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

1. 8 years - Software Development Life Cycle Project Management
2. 8 years - Project Management tools (MS Project, Visio, Excel, SharePoint)
3. 8 years - Excellent written and oral communication/presentation skills
4. 5 years - Risk Analysis
5. 8 years - Technical Project Management experience
6. 5 years - Experience in managing SW operations/maintenance projects
7. 3 years - Experience in Agile methodology
8. Bachelor's Degree

Nice to have:

1. 6 years - Technical experience in implementing .NET based web applications
