We are seeking a General Counsel to assist in our daily operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to review legal and business issues and communicate only the important aspects in a clear and concise manner to our top executive. In addition, you will be asked to learn the internal operations of every department in the company and assist when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Represent company in court or before government agencies
• Prepare, draft, and review legal documents on behalf of the company
• Advise the company's executive on business and legal transactions
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
• Comply with all legal standards and regulations
• Perform administrative and management functions

Education and/or Experience:

• Membership in California State Bar
• Juris Doctor from nationally accredited law school
• Previous experience in law, preferably with indirect auto retail installment contract
• Familiarity with various legal documents
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
