Job Description:
Education and Experience
- BA/BS or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience
- 5+ years specifically operating and managing Azure infrastructure.
- Must possess the required DoD Directive 8570 IAT Level II or higher certification (Security+CE preferred)
- Experience provisioning and managing Azure infrastructure to include VMs, storage accounts, block storage, VNETs, Network Security Groups and custom roles/permissions
- Knowledge of DNS services, DHCP, Azure Key Management & Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with managing Azure Active Directory
- Experience provisioning and managing Azure Virtual Desktop backend hosting & Azure IoT
- Experience provisioning and managing Azure VPN Gateways, Azure Firewalls, VNET peering and Azure User Defined Routing.
- Understanding of on-premise to cloud connectivity using VPNs & Azure Express Routes
- Understanding of L2/L3 networking fundamentals
- Experience with managing & monitoring cloud-based infrastructure, security, and application environments
Summary
- Contributes to completion of specific engineering programs and projects
- Develops solutions to a variety of complex engineering problems
- Perform complex systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
- Oversees complex infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Performs complex systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
- Performs continual maintenance and provides complex solutions for security, backup, and redundancy problems
- Prepares and maintains documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
- Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology
- May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
- May serve as a team or task lead

The likely salary range for this position is $136,000 - $184,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
