General Summary:
Qualcomm's Snapdragon Studios are seeking an experienced engineer to collaborate directly with mobile game and game engine developers globally. The role involves driving the implementation of differentiating features and optimizations to deliver superior experiences on the Snapdragon chipset. The primary focus will be on GPU and CPU-related features and optimizations for mobile game engines, while encompassing all Snapdragon SOC hardware blocks, including audio, video, neural processing, display, and connectivity. Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience. - 2+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
Bilingualism Required: Mandarin/English
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Comfortable working in large unfamiliar C/C++ codebases
- Experience developing source-level game engine features/optimizations
- Solid 3D graphics related mathematics background
- Expertise with Vulkan, DirectX, OpenGL, or OpenGL ES
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Familiarity with 3D graphics profilers and debuggers such as Snapdragon Profiler, RenderDoc, Pix, NSight, etc.
- Familiar with modern PC/console/mobile game engine architectures

Pay range and Other Compensation & Benefits: $134,800.00 - $202,200.00
The above pay scale reflects the broad, minimum to maximum, pay scale for this job code for the location for which it has been posted. Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Qualcomm.
