Minimum Qualifications:

1. 3-5+ years experience as a Linux system administrator
2. Strong communication and documentation skills
3. Scripting experience (python/bash/perl)
4. Strong troubleshooting skills
5. Comfortable with command line
6. Comfortable reading logs (for example: SPLUNK or ELK)
7. Use of monitoring tools (ie, Icinga, Nagios)
8. Strong understanding of how to create/follow a method of procedure to troubleshoot/maintain and configure systems
9. Comfortable working in a variety of different technology environments: web, TV and mobile; front and back-end design utilizing proprietary and open source platforms, as well as back-end administrative systems
10. A nearly overpowering desire to automate balanced with a necessary amount of pragmatism
11. An open mind as to how automation may be accomplished
12. Video application experience is helpful but not required (i.e. Conditional Access, VOD etc)
