Technology Consulting, Financial Services Manager - Solution Architect: Primary location for this role is in NY.

Our Financial Risk Technology practice helps clients manage credit, market and liquidity risk across regions and regulatory regimes. We provide full lifecycle services to enable the implementation of best practice risk management processes and systems.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead the development of cutting-edge disruptive technologies and assist with building and implementing new technology solutions and products to address liquidity challenges faced by the banking industry.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and technical requirements.
• Design and architect scalable, reliable, and secure solutions that meet client objectives.
• Provide guidance and expertise to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct technical reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
• Deliver exceptional client service by recognizing potential risks and recommending solutions for effective management.
• Coach and manage a team of junior level professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds.
• Develop and maintain influential long-term relationships with client’s key influencers/decision makers and cultivate business development opportunities.
• Drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
• Constantly developing your understanding of current market trends and processes and sharing your knowledge to develop junior colleagues.
• Strong knowledge of and experience in executing controls related assessments across multiple risk and regulatory domains throughout the technology architecture.
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end and UAT testing of business processes, technology, and data infrastructures.

To qualify for the role you must have:

• A Bachelor's degree (computer science, engineering, or related field) and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience in an Information Technology role in a financial services company OR
• A Master’s degree (computer science, engineering, or related field) and approximately 4 years of related work experience in a financial services company.
• Demonstrated ability to manage, supervise and build a team of technology advisors.
• Experience in managing small to mid-sized teams and overseeing projects from inception to deployment.
• Experience in financial risk management combined with leading enterprise IT implementations leveraging Agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
