SSI is seeking a Linux Systems Administrator to join our team supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) High Performance Computing Modernization Program (DoD HPCMP).
The selected system administrator will work with a team of engineers to review and define configurations, create automation scripts to deploy and configure network assets, review and deploy software applications, and provide support for testing, demonstration, and technical interchange meetings. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, patching, hardening, and configuration management. This position is in support of Apache systems running on Linux servers. Flexibility in approach to finding solutions is essential, as well as the ability to understand and act on customer needs and priorities and learn new technologies quickly. Occasional off-hours activity will be required to perform updates and take part in service restoration efforts. Must have an active Top-Secret Clearance.

Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree and three (3) years or more of related experience
- Bash Scripting and process automation
- Direct experience with Apache Web Server and Apache Tomcat
- LAMP web services software stack
- SSL Certificate Management
- Kickstarts
- Oracle Database
- Top Secret Security Clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT II (or better) Certification (i.e. Security+)
