Two Six Technologies is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, managing, and maintaining various systems to ensure secure and efficient environments. You will work collaboratively with other team members while also demonstrating the ability to solve problems independently with minimal direction. Job Responsibilities:

1. Installation and maintenance of network equipment
2. Troubleshooting and resolution of network issues
3. Design network architectures based on customer requirements and industry best practices
4. Development of unique solutions that will meet customer requirements and industry best practices
5. Collaborate effectively with other IT disciplines (e.g., Storage, Platform, Application) to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems
6. Develop and maintain configurations plans for Cisco ACI design, planning, implementation, and testing, based on multi-datacenter configurations
7. Create architectural design solutions and successfully present them to client stakeholders
8. Work with infrastructure engineers to identify new products and solutions
9. Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure
10. Maintain systems and documentation as needed for audits and compliance
11. Communications with customers: keeping them informed of incident progress, notifying of impending changes, or coordinated outages
12. Be available for other engineers and coach them to resolution

Required Knowledge/Skills:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience
2. In-depth understanding of networking to include routing, switching, network monitoring and management
3. Experience working with Cisco Firepower
4. Strong troubleshooting skills specific to network connectivity, security, and ability to effectively work in cross-functional teams as needed to resolve issues
5. NextGen Firewall Experience
6. Ability to research and find new and innovative technologies to enhance the existing network
7. Define network strategy with respect to technology domain standards and design goals
8. Provide technical design and architectural leadership, including documenting and diagramming the logical, physical and process views
9. Experience analyzing network traffic, using a variety of network tools to assess security-related events to assist in rapid identification and isolation of issues during incidents and outages
10. Experience in designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting various network technologies and protocols
