Job Description:

Credentials and Experience:

  1. A bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience.
  2. A minimum of five years of experience in Oracle Cloud Fusion solution development disciplines, including experience with modules such as Financials, HCM, SCM, and EPM.
  3. Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms and processing environments.
  4. Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models.
  5. Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt.
  6. Experience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not required.
  7. Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps.
  8. License or certification in Cloud Systems Architecture.

Technical Skills:

  1. Expertise in Oracle Fusion architecture, configuration, and data structures.
  2. Strong understanding of integration techniques and tools.
  3. Knowledge of security practices and compliance requirements.
  4. Experience with Oracle Fusion APIs, Web Services, and middleware solutions.
  5. Data savvy with knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network and security.
  6. Good understanding of information principles and processes.
  7. Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, spiral, agile software development, rapid prototyping, incremental, synchronize and stabilize and DevOps).
  8. Understanding and knowledge of IT service management (ITSM) and information technology infrastructure library (ITIL).
  9. Understanding of IT standards and controls.
  10. Industry experience in applying application development methodologies and infrastructure and network architecture.
  11. Proven analytical, planning, organizational and technical skills.
  12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  13. Ability to work with developers in an outsourced environment.
  14. Understanding of support controls to address all aspects of cloud computing such as service tiers, monitoring and alerting, business continuity planning, etc.
  15. Able to engage other architects on the project (Security, Network, DB) as appropriate and provide leadership through resolution of architectural issues.
