As a Security Engineer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert analysis and resolution of security incidents and vulnerability issues.
- Helping plan and design key security domains under the direction of IT leadership.
- Providing expert security consultancy during internal and business IT projects.

What it takes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security or related field, 8+ years of relevant experience, with 5+ years in information security, or equivalent combination.
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) or relevant GIAC certifications.
- Thorough understanding of security best practices, frameworks, control types, and relevant technologies.
- Experience in security incident detection and response of routine to complex high severity incidents, vulnerability management, and preventative controls.
- Experience in parsing security and server log files to establish and/or tune rules for identification of security incidents.
- Experience with one or more scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Perl, or Ruby in support of task and security automation.
- Experience in the implementation and support of zero trust networking methodologies.
- 3+ years of experience in cross-functional project delivery. (Desired)
- Experience with Microsoft security stacks such as Defender and Sentinel. (Desired)
- Ability to communicate technical subjects clearly and concisely to non-technical staff. (Desired)
- Experience with network security functionality across multiple platforms such as Palo Alto Networks and Meraki firewalls. (Desired)
- A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record.
