OPPORTUNITY

Join an innovative engineering team focused on providing design services to clients across North America within the food & beverage sector. This role involves contributing to large-scale projects (up to $500 million) for major industry players. You will leverage your engineering skills, food processing knowledge, and problem-solving abilities to support design initiatives while mentoring colleagues in a collaborative environment.

POSITION

This role reports to the Vice President/Manager of Process Engineering. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, focusing on food manufacturing and processing systems, including equipment layout and sanitation systems. Projects span from high-level planning to detailed design, including final startup and commissioning. You will work closely with clients, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years of experience in process engineering and design within the food & beverage, nutraceutical, or similar industries.
  • A B.S. in chemical or food engineering; Professional Engineering (P.E.) certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in developing BFDs, PFDs, and P&IDs.
  • Skilled in leading HAZOPs and FMEAs.
  • Expertise in the design and specification of process systems and equipment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and process simulation software.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
