Salesforce Jr. Developer

Wage Notice: $65,000 - $75,000 + VIP Bonus

Job Description:

The Salesforce Jr. Developer position is a highly technical and creative role, focused on building functionality on Vertafore’s Salesforce platform. Assist and collaborate on features in Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce CPQ, Communities, and Celigo cloud integration framework. Work with other members of the Enterprise Applications team in an Agile environment to deliver business-critical solutions.

Core Requirements and Responsibilities:

1. Assist and develop custom solutions using Visualforce, Javascript, Apex, APIs, and 3rd party tools, with a mindset of long-term scalability and an intuitive user experience.
2. Manage configuration changes to fields, workflows, roles/permissions, page layouts, custom objects, custom record types, reports, and dashboards.
3. Research and development of new Salesforce add-ons/prototypes and applications, and facilitate continuous improvement within the environment.
4. Communicate and collaborate with other team resources and stakeholders regarding status, technical issues, and creative solutions.
5. Research and keep current on Salesforce modules and functionality, also communicate trends and future needs from a business perspective to management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a technically related field, or equivalent education/experience.
2. 2-4 years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Jr. Developer.
3. Experience developing in Java, Apex, VisualForce, and/or Javascript programming languages.
4. Experience in building Lightning components, LWC is preferred.
5. Experience utilizing SFDC development tools, SFDX, developer console.
6. Experience utilizing Salesforce data tools, data loader, and SFDC workbench.
7. Familiarity integrating systems using APIs (SOAP, RESTful).
8. Awareness of RDBMs, modeling, and SQL.
9. Experience with QTC integrations, Salesforce CPQ, Service Cloud, and/or Communities preferred.
10. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences.
11. Salesforce Developer Certification PD I, PD II is preferred.
