IT Systems Administrator
Company Overview
Empirical Systems Aerospace, Inc. is seeking candidates for a position in IT Systems Administrator.
ESAero is a growing aerospace company in the San Luis Obispo area and provides various services which include but are not limited to rapid system development, on-demand niche engineering, hands-on development/testing, and small UAS aerospace system manufacturing.
- This position is fully on-site at Empirical Systems Aerospace in San Luis Obispo, CA
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Broad variety of operations administration duties associated with computer systems and IT infrastructure.
- Overseeing day to day management of IT task ticket system.
- Assist with the maintenance and management of network servers and technology tools.
- Assist with the deployment of software updates.
- Setup accounts and workstations.
- Identify and setup user trainings.
- Identify and support cybersecurity policies and initiatives.
- Monitor system performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
- Troubleshoot user software/hardware/connectivity issues.
- Help establish remote-working networked IT solutions.
- Help design, upgrade, and maintain wireless network.
- Support manufacturing, production, quality, and related engineering efforts.
- Troubleshoot issues and outages.
- Coordinate IT issue resolutions with other IT resources as required.
- Assist with development of processes and procedures.
- Track IT KPI’s.
- Creation and updating of documentation.
- Assist with user training.
- Support company AS9100 certification.
- Maintain and support NIST 800-171 and CMMC certification and compliance.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain a security clearance.
- High School Diploma, some college experience preferred.
- Computer networks training.
- Experience with Enterprise IT admin.
- Formal computer science training is a plus.
- A working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Administration, and Group Policy Management.
- Writing documentation of Best Practices.
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers.
- Proven ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Must possess solid organizational skills.
