Title: Workday Consultant

Primary Recruiter: Jane Bautista
Salary: $137K to $162K
Position Type: Full Time – Direct Hire
Location: Lawrenceville, NJ, United States – 50% onsite

Key Responsibilities

  1. Ideate, develop and maintain custom Workday Extend applications.
  2. Work closely with Business, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that Extend applications meet those requirements.
  3. Develop and maintain documentation for Extend applications, including process flows and technical specifications.
  4. Serve as a Workday Extend expert with deep knowledge of design concepts, touchpoints with relevant functional areas in consideration of future product direction.
  5. Ensure Workday Extend applications are built with the right security, reliability, and deliver exceptional user experience.
  6. Manage the testing and deployment of Workday Extend applications, including coordinating with stakeholders and ensuring that testing is thorough and complete.
  7. Stay up to date with Workday releases and new features, and work with the team to evaluate and implement new functionality as appropriate. Provide leadership and guidance to the team, and ensure that team members are engaged, motivated, and productive.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in HR technology, with a focus on Workday Extend.
  3. Strong technical skills, including demonstrated experience with Workday Extend.
  4. Experience with XML, XSLT, Web Services, SOAP, REST, JSON, JavaScript, and other integration technologies.
  5. Experience with EIBs, Packaged Connectors, Web services, and other integration tools.
  6. Strong project management skills, with the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  9. Demonstrates a focus on improving processes, structures, and knowledge within the team.
  10. Stays current with emerging trends in the specialty area.
  11. Maintains a broad perspective when analyzing information and utilizes analytical thought while pushing others to do the same.
